(Cleveland, OH) -- Edwin Encarnacion smacked three home runs and drove in six as the Indians routed the Rangers 12-4 in the rubber match of a three-game series at Progressive Field. Jason Kipnis added a three-run blast and Francisco Lindor a solo shot for the Indians, who are 4-and-5 on their 11-game homestand.
Corey Kluber cruised through seven innings, allowing three runs on six hits to move to 5-and-1.
Nomar Mazara, Juan Centeno and Joey Gallo all went deep for Texas, which finished 3-and-3 on its road trip to Toronto and Cleveland.
Matt Moore was rocked for 10 runs in four frames to fall to 1-and-4.
The homestand for the Indians concludes on Thursday with a traditional doubleheader with the Toronto Blue Jays, the games making up for two that were postponed in April due to weather. The first pitch of game one will be at 1:10 p.m. on WTAM 1100, while game two will be about 30 minutes after the completion of the first game. Game two will be on 100.7 WMMS.
