Tribe Loses To Texas, 8-6, In 12 Innings

(Cleveland)  --  Joey Gallo and Isiah Kiner-Falefa hit back-to-back home runs in the 12th inning as the Rangers outlasted the Indians 8-6 at Progressive Field.  

Kiner-Falefa went 4-for-6 to help Texas snap a two-game slide.  Alex Claudio pitched three innings of scoreless relief to get the win.  Delino DeShields and Nomar Mazara also homered for the Rangers.  

Michael Brantley hit a grand slam with two outs in the ninth to help Cleveland overcome a 6-2 deficit and tie the game at six.  Nick Goody served up both home runs in the 12th to take the loss.  

The Tribe has lost three-of-four.

The Indians and Rangers play the rubber game of the three-game series Wednesday afternoon.  Corey Kluber starts for the Tribe, and Matt Moore for Texas.  First pitch 1:10 p.m. on WTAM 1100.
