(CLEVELAND) Browns fans cheered at at a tailgate party in Cleveland's Muni Lot as NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced the Browns had selected Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield with the first pick in the NFL draft. But, after the excitement died down, some fans questioned the decision.
"Not a fan," says Laura Wallace of Akron. "Very disappointed."
"Not excited about Baker Mayfield, very excited about Denzell Ward," says her friend Amy Roberts. "Curious to see how Baker and Denzell get along with year."
The Browns selected Ohio State cornerback Denzel Ward with the number four pick in the draft. Mayfield upset some OSU fans when he tried to plant the Sooner flag at Ohio Stadium after Oklahoma's 31-16 win over the Buckeye in September.
