CLEVELAND -- The Indians won their fifth-straight game completing a sweep of the Detroit Tigers on Thursday night with a 9-3 victory at Progressive Field.
Trevor Bauer earned his first victory of the 2018 season going seven strong innings, only allowing 2 runs while striking out 7. Francisco Lindor drove in three runs during the Tribe's rout of the Tigers.
It was the Indians 11th consecutive victory over the Tigers dating back to last season.
The Indians open a three-game weekend series on Friday night at Progressive Field when they host the Toronto Blue Jays.
