(Cleveland) - Bonds were continued at $1,000,000 each Thursday for twenty-four year old Sierra Day and her boyfriend, Deonte Lewis. The pair is accused in the March 11 killing of Day's four-year old daughter, Aniya Day-Garrett.
Paramedics were called to the family's Euclid apartment last month where the girl was suffering from blunt impact injuries to her head. She ultimately died from her injuries.
Sierra Day and Deonte Lewis pleaded not guilty to the charges against them, including aggravated murder, murder, permitting child abuse and endangering children. Cuyahoga County Judge Steven Gall ordered the suspects back in court on April 17.
