(Cleveland) -- Yan Gomes belted a two-run walk-off homer in the ninth to give the Indians a 3-1 victory over the Royals at Progressive Field.
Mike Clevinger gave up one run over seven-and-one-third innings in a no-decision, while Cody Allen picked up the victory with a spotless ninth.
Cleveland took two-of-three from Kansas City to improve to 4-and-5.
The Indians and Tigers open a four-game series at Progressive Field Monday night. Corey Kluber takes the mound for Cleveland.
Kluber is 0-and-2 despite having a 2.40 ERA and 0.80 WHIP in his first two starts. Detroit counters with 1-and-0 Francisco Liriano.
