(Youngstown) - There's a little more star power in the race for Ohio governor.
State Senator Joe Schiavoni (D-Youngstown) has a new TV ad in which actor Ed O'Neill of ABC's "Modern Family" has endorsed Schiavoni. O'Neill is a native of Youngstown.
In the ad, O'Neill says he was born in Youngstown, so he knows Ohio, and he understands Schiavoni.
Democrat Dennis Kucinich is also using star power, announcing last week that rock icon Dave Matthews would do a benefit acoustic concert for Kucinich on April 20th, at Cleveland's Agora Theatre. Tickets for that event are sold out.
