Cavs Sweep Homestand, Beat Suns 120-95

The Cavs welcomed back a few familiar faces back to the court as they pummeled the Phoenix Suns, 120-95.

Tristan Thompson, Rodney Hood, and Larry Nance, Jr returned to the lineup as the Cavs look to ramp up for another championship run.

"Our huddle was almost complete," Lebron James told reporters after the game. James finished the night with 37 points, 9 assists, and six rebounds in only three quarters of action.

The three players coming back, along with Kevin Love back in the lineup after months on the injury list is great news for Cleveland, who has been forced to use patchwork starting lineups while as many as six players have been out on any given night. Love played 30 min and had 20 points in the Cavs' blowout win.

The players coming back are a nice boost for a team who is still without their Head Coach. Tyronn Lue has missed the last three games due to health problems. Associate Head Coach Larry Drew has filled in admirably, going 3-0 while filling in for Lue, even though he thinks the boss of the Cavs' bench still has something to do with it.

"We rallied around him,"  Drew said about Lue. "We rallied around one another."

In his return, Nance, Jr put up another double-double, going for 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson added 13 more points off the bench.

After sweeping this homestand, the Cavs go to Brooklyn to take on the Nets, Saturday at 1PM. Complete Cavaliers Coverage starts at Noon on Cleveland's Newsradio, WTAM 1100.
