Cleveland firefighters battle Tremont Blaze

(Cleveland) - There were some scary moments for families on Brayton Avenue near West 8th Street in the Tremont neighborhood this morning, when a house erupted in to flames.

It quickly spread to adjacent homes on both sides.

Fire department spokesman Mike Norman says the house was fully involved when they arrived, and it was difficult maneuvering about Tremont's narrow streets.

Four people are now displaced because of the blaze, but no one was hurt, thanks to working smoke detectors. The Red Cross is helping them to find temporary shelter.

The house where the fire started was being remodeled and was completely destroyed.
