(Westlake) - Police are investigating an accident Friday morning on Center Ridge Road that killed a pedestrian. Westlake Police say the person was hit by a vehicle about 6:10 a.m. at 27919 Center Ridge, near the entrance to the Westlake Recreation Center. Sixty-eight year old Legija Jekic died at St. John Medical Center. Nobody in the vehicle was injured.That stretch of Center Ridge Road from Dover Center Road to Schwartz Road was closed during most of the morning rush hour for investigation of the accident.
