Maple Heights Citizens Bank Robbed At Gunpoint

CLEVELAND - The FBI is asking for your help identifying the man who robbed a Maple Heights Citizens Bank this afternoon.

According to the bureau, it happened around 3:15, when a lone, armed, black male entered the banks branch  located at 15765 Broadway Ave.

The suspect approached a teller demanding money.  The teller complied giving the suspect cash, and managed to slip in a dye pack, before the suspect fled on foot.

That dye pack exploded outside, near the bank. The suspect may have red dye on his hands and/or clothing and may try to disburse money with red dye.

The suspect was wearing dark clothing, including a hoodie and a mask which covered the lower half of his face.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cleveland Division of the FBI, or Maple Heights Police.

Tipsters can remain anonymous and reward money is being offered.
