Stolen Cars and Drunk Driver in Rocky River

ROCKY RIVER, OH - Rocky River Police blotter:

  • On 02/28/2018 at about 1:20 AM police stopped a Ford pick-up truck on Interstate-90 that was entered stolen in Kentucky The theft was confirmed with the Louisville Police Department and the driver, a thirty-one year-old Garfield Hts. woman, was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property and Driving Under Suspension. 
  • On 03/01/2018 at about 8:45 PM police responded to Wooster Rd. north bound from the area of Lorain Rd. to investigate a heavily damaged Ford northbound on the roadway. The driver, a sixty-six year-old Lakewood man, was arrested for drunk driving. Officers were unable to determine where the damage to the vehicle occurred. 
  • On 03/04/2018 at about 12:30 AM police saw a vehicle on Interstate-90 that was reported stolen from Lakewood about two hours earlier. Police initiated a traffic stop and the car fled, leading police on a pursuit into Cleveland. The pursuit was terminated on Cedar Rd. in Cleveland. No suspects were identified and no one was injured.
