Poster Contest Launched To Bring Awareness To Drug Problem

(Cleveland) - The Cleveland Division of the FBI, the Cleveland DEA, the Northern Ohio U.S. Attorneys Office and others have announced their 2nd Annual Chasing The Dragon Contest.  

It's a poster contest where local seventh through twelfth graders are urged to create posters bringing awareness to the use of heroin and the misuse of opioids.  

Local teens are urged to submit posters which focus on the consequences of the use and misuse of the drugs. 

 Posters are to be 18'' by 24'' and will be judged on the originality of presentation, effectiveness and relevance and content.  All posters must be submitted by 5PM, March 9th.  

They can be submitted to the FBI, Attention: Community Outreach Specialist, 1501 Lakeside Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, 44114 or they may be dropped off.  

Monetary prizes will be awarded to four winners in three grade categories: 7th/8th grades, 9th/10th grades and 11th/12th grades.  

All posters must be free of obscene material or language, nudity, profanity or gratuitous violence, endorsement of illegal drug use, alcohol abuse, prescription drug abuse or other illegal activity or derogatory characterization of any person or group.
