The 18th annual Race for the Place, a 5k and 1 mile run or walk, will be held at Beachwood Place on Sunday, June 3rd. Race for the Place is an opportunity to celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day and raise money to support the free programs and services offered at The Gathering Place for individuals and families coping with the impact of cancer in their daily lives. University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center is the presenting sponsor of the event that also includes a survivor ceremony and celebration village with family activities.
