GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The Indians improved to 5-2-1 in Cactus League exhibition play on Thursday afternoon coming back to stun the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-7 at Camelback Ranch Stadium in Glendale.

Trailing 7-1 in the seventh inning, the Indians scored the next seven unanswered runs to secure the comeback victory. With the game tied 7-7 in the top of the ninth inning, Giovanny Urshela delivered the go-ahead RBI single to give the Tribe a lead they would never relinquish.

Urshela also got the Indians within one run in the eighth inning scoring on a wild pitch. Francisco Mejia tied the game in the same frame at 7-7. Yandy Diaz and Abe Almonte also chipped in with RBI hits.

Stephen Fife started the game for Cleveland going three strong innings, only allowing three hits, one run and one walk.

The Indians return to Cactus League exhibition action on Friday at Goodyear Ballpark when they host the Texas Rangers at 3:05 pm ET.
