WTAM News

(Cleveland) - An eighteen year old student from Glenville High School was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after bringing a gun to school.

Cleveland Police say the student is an eleventh grader and brought a nine millimeter into the school building. Police say there is no indication he threatened anyone.

A concerned student saw the student with the gun, called a parent who, in turn, called police.  The student was arrested near E. 107 and St. Clair.  Police say the student had the loaded gun in his possession.

The School Board has yet to confirm whether the student had a gun inside the school building.
