GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- For the third-straight year oddsmakers are high on the Tribe. And for the third-straight season the Cleveland Indians will finally look to finish the deal and win the 2018 World Series.
Bovada Sportsbook LV recently released their 2018 World Series futures and the Indians are again near the top of their list among teams that have the best chance to win a title. The Indians last World Series crown came in 1948, now 70 years ago, which happens to be the longest drought in MLB.
Bovada listed the Tribe with the sixth-best World Series odds at +850. In other words, a $100 bet would net a bettor $850 if the Indians won the Fall Classic this October.
