GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The Indians appear to be reuniting with a familiar face. Rajai Davis and the Tribe agreed to a Minor League deal which includes an invite to big league camp for spring training.

The deal will become official once Davis passes a physical at the club's player development complex. While Davis plans to speak with the media on Sunday, his teammates Yan Gomes and Lonnie Chisenhall were excited about reuniting with their former teammate.

During the Indians run to the World Series in 2016, Davis spent the year with Cleveland leading the American League in stolen bases with 43. Davis also hit .249 that season with 12 home runs and 48 RBI in 134 games.

Re-live Davis' home run during Game 7 of the World Series against the Chicago Cubs:

In 2017 Davis spent time with the Oakland Athletics and Boston Red Sox hitting .235, stealing 29 bases, hitting five home runs and driving in 20 runs.

Davis will be in camp competing for an outfield spot on the Indians roster.

The Indians will hold their first official full squad workout on Monday at the club's player development complex.
