Citizens Bank On Puritas Robbed At Gunpoint

CLEVELAND- Cleveland PD and the FBI are asking for the public's help in the search for two young men who held-up the Citizens Bank on Puritas Avenue.

It happened around 11:15 Wednesday morning when the two unidentified suspects entered the bank, one of them armed with a black semi-automatic handgun,  jumped the counter and ordered 3 employees to lay on the ground.

The armed suspect then took money from two of the teller drawers. The suspects then left on foot before fleeing in a maroon, or red, Jeep parked behind a nearby shopping center.

They are both described as black males, approximately 20 years old, around 5'7" and 140- to 150 lbs and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on either suspect is asked to call the Cleveland Division of the FBI, Cleveland Police or Crime Stoppers. Tipsters can remain anonymous and reward money is available.
