(Canal Fulton, OH)  --  A campaign is underway to keep a man who shot and wounded  a Stark County police officer behind bars.  Canal Fulton police are asking the community to write letters opposing Christopher Monihan's parole.  Officer Ed Harbaugh's wife Jennifer is leading the campaign.  Monihan has served 23 years of a 50-year sentence for shooting Harbaugh during a scuffle in 1995. Harbaugh was shot four times, three of the bullets were removed, one is still lodged in his lung.  Officer Harbaugh is back at work at the Canal Fulton Police Department.    Information on how to contact the Ohio Parole Board is available on the Canal Fulton Police Department's Facebook page
