St. Augustine appeals for help to feed hungry

Cleveland - Cleveland's St. Augustine Parish is asking for financial help in order to keep feeding the hungry during the harsh winter months.

St. Augustine's expects to serve thousands of people in Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at its hunger center in Tremont, as well as at other satellite centers throughout Greater Cleveland and Lorain.

Volunteers are expected to deliver hot meals to more than 8500 elderly and disabled individuals who are alone and unable to provide for themselves.

The parish is making a funding appeal so that they can continue to provide meals during the next few months.
