WTAM-AM 1100 to recapture historic Tribe streak

CLEVELAND -- This Holiday Season Newsradio WTAM 1100 will be reliving the Cleveland Indians historic 22-game winning streak through the voices of Tom Hamilton and Jim Rosenhaus, also featuring fun facts about the streak, its place in history with a narration by Nick Camino.

The special edition hour-long program will air on Newsradio WTAM 1100 Friday, Dec. 22 and 9:05 pm ET and Monday, Jan. 1 at 6:05 pm ET. The show commemorating the Tribe's historic 22-game winning streak can also be streamed live on the free iHeart Radio app and the Nick Camino Show podcast page.

The show will feature all of the excitement that highlighted the Tribe's historic stretch as heard on the Cleveland Indians Radio Network. The streak the Indians put together was something that had not been done in Major League Baseball in over 100 years.

During the streak, the Indians outscored their opponents 142-37 and averaged 6.45 runs per game and scored in double digits six different times. During the historic stretch, the Indians starting rotation posted a record of 19-0 with an ERA of just 1.77. The most incredible stat of all? The Indians hitting more home runs (41) than runs allowed. The Tribe also posted seven shutouts during the 22-game streak.

The special edition holiday program "The Streak" will be produced by longtime Cleveland Indians Radio Network and WTAM 1100 producer Brian Motsay.
