Police have ended their search for a 5 year old developmentally disabled boy after making a horrifying discovery outside the family's home on west 80th street Tuesday afternoon. Police Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia tells Newsradio WTAM 1100, officers arrived earlier with a search warrant, and found a child's remains in the backyard. Detectives went to the home of Larissa Rodriguez after receiving a call from Pakistan claiming a body was buried in the back yard of home. The caller also told investigators, the woman buried Jordan Rodriquez in the backyard two months ago. Larissa Rodriguez had claimed her son, Jordan was in Houston with his father. The 34 year old woman could be charged with the boy's death today. Rodriquez’s sister says Larissa once tied up Jordan in the corner with a sock in his mouth and she saw Jordan nearly dead in a closet. Child services had also visited the home and described the home as deplorable and infested with cockroaches and rats. Why wasn’t Jordan and his siblings removed from their mother’s custody before he was murdered?

The French government will ban students from using mobile phones in the country’s primary, junior and middle schools at the start of the next school year. Reports say that children will be allowed to bring their phones to school, however they will not allowed to use them until they leave, even during breaks.
