(Toledo, OH) -- A green beer is flowing from the taps of the Maumee Bay Brewing Company, four months before St. Patrick's Day. The Toledo-based brewery began serving its Algae Bloom Beer yesterday to help raise awareness of water quality on Lake Erie. The sour India pale ale with green coloring and hints of kiwi is expected to soon arrive at other Toledo-area bars.
