(Perry Twp., Stark County) – A high school near Massillon is dealing with an alarming rate of student suicides. That’s because in the past year, three students at Perry High School have taken their own lives.
Counselors have spoken to nearly every one of the 1,600 students at Perry High. Students have produced a YouTube video to tell classmates they can get help.
On Wednesday, Perry High students demonstrated outside the school, hoping to drive home the message that bullying is wrong, and that most student suicides are tied to bullying.
