Cleveland, OH - The team that invented the podcast "Road Trippin" did just that on the road as they close out their 4 game road trip with a 115-107 win against the Charlotte Hornets and finish with a 3-1 road trip record.
As some would say, this team on the road during this four game set was certainly a "trip" as they ran out of gas against the Houston Rockets, struggled to win against a two-win Dallas Mavericks team led be 40 year old Dirk Nowitzki , then the Cavs needed a double-digit 2nd half comeback against the New York Knicks before pulling away against the Hornets tonight.
The Cavs' defense stepped up in the 2nd half tonight as they held the Hornets to 40 points after they led the Cavs at halftime 67-61. Late in the 3rd quarter, LeBron received his 4th foul of the game. In a true case of "Road Trippin," the Cavs buck the three year LeBron on the bench curse by taking an 86-84 lead with a Kyle Korver three pointer. The Cavs outscored the Hornets 34-23 after LeBron received his 4th foul.
