Lost in the wake of the botched attempt to acquire quarterback AJ McCarron from the Bengals is Browns rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer.
With his confidence already reeling after being benched twice in the first half of the season, the Browns reportedly offered second- and third-round draft choices in 2018 for McCarron. That price was more the cost for a starting quarterback than a backup, which would signal the organization is not pleased with what they're seeing from the second-round draft choice from Notre Dame.
