Cleveland police looking for escaped prisoner

(Cleveland) -  Cleveland Police and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force are looking for a 29-year-old man who escaped from police custody Saturday afternoon.

Cleveland police say Antwoine Thomas was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment on November 1, 2017.

Around 12:30PM Saturday afternoon, he  escaped.

Police say Thomas was wearing no shirt and black jogging pants with a white stripe down the side of the pant legs.

Thomas is said to have an extensive criminal record and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 9-1-1.

Thomas was being held on a charge of receiving stolen property.
