Kyrie Irving returns to Quicken Loans Arena

Kyrie Irving

(Cleveland) - Kyrie Irving returned to Quicken Loans Arena as a member of the Boston Celtics.

During his introduction fans booed, but not for long. They were more excited about this new edition of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Most fans said they didn't take Kyrie's departure and critical comments about Cleveland personally and are ready to focus their attention on a championship run for the Cavs.

Only a few said they were angry or disappointed, but have moved past their initial dismay.

The Cavs did not show the video tribute for their former point guard at the beginning of the game.

Irving spent six years with the Cavs, helping them win an NBA championship and getting to the finals twice.

Fans said they do appreciate Irving helping the Cavs beat the Warriors in the Finals.

The Cavs traded Irving to Boston during the offseason.

LeBron James did play even though he was dealing with a sprained ankle.

It was the Cavs debut for Jae Crowder, Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade.
