(Elyria) - On Wednesday at approximately 08:17 hours, the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office and the South Lorain County Ambulance Service were dispatched Pratt Road east of Hawley Road in Huntington Twp. for an unresponsive white male; who had been located in a ditch between the roadway and a corn field by two passersby, in this remote area of Lorain County.
Upon arrival of EMS and Sheriff Deputies it was determined that the male was deceased. Lorain County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and the Lorain County Coroner’s Office were called to the scene.
The deceased was positively identified as 27 year old Corey Stevenson, from the 5000 block of Woolman Ct., Parma, Ohio.
There was no apparent trauma to the deceased. Cause of death will be determined by the Lorain County Coroner’s Office.
Further investigation is being conducted by the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau.
