(NORTH ROYALTON) - North Royalton police are warning that you may have had your credit card information, including pin number, stolen by a card skimmer installed in at least once gas pump recently. In a Facebook post, police said the skimmer was not attached to the outside of the gas pump, but rather was found inside the pump, where it would not have been visible.
The skimmer (pictured above) was found at pump #7 at the BP station on the corner of State and Royalton Roads. Police said it may have been there since September 22nd, and no other pumps were found to have been impacted. At least one person commented on the post, claiming that someone bought plane tickets with her credit card after she got gas at the station.
