(Cleveland) - Baldwin-Wallace University Political Science Professor Tom Sutton expects Frank Jackson, Zack Reed, and Jeff Johnson to be the top votegetters in Tuesday's primary election.
However, he says Reed and Johnson could split the east side vote allowing one of the lesser known candidates to sneak into second place, like Robert Kilo, or Tony Madalone.
Dr. Sutton is certain Jackson will win the primary, he has a lot of campaign cash, and a ton of endorsements.
Sutton believes a low voter turnout will help Mayor Jackson. A high voter turnout will help the challengers, like Jeff Johnson and Zack Reed (above).
Sutton says it's very likely that Jackson and Reed will be the candidates to face off in the November election.
