Church needs help filling truck for Harvey victims

Westlake - A local church has an empty semi-truck from All Pro Freight that they plan to use to help Hurricane Harvey victims.

Church on the Rise on Crocker Road is working with other churches to fill the truck with supplies to be delivered to Texas.

They're asking for everything from diapers, baby formula and toiletries to wet/dry vacs, as well as shovels, hammers, nail supplies and other tools.

Also needed are canned foods and pet foods, board games and note cards.

The church already has a driver and rig to pull the truck, plus the costs and fuel have already been covered.

People can bring donations between the hours of 8am and 8pm from September 5th until September 10th.

They're hoping to have the truck loaded and ready to go on September 11th.
