Shots Taken At OSP Facilities, Cruiser

(North Canton) - Somebody must have a grudge against the Ohio State Highway Patrol, as, overnight, Driver Examination Stations run by the Patrol in Summit and Stark counties had their windows shot out, and a State Patrol cruiser was also shot at.

Later in the morning, the State Patrol said they have identified a person of interest in the shootings, and that person is being held by Uniontown Police in a shooting in that community.

The Canton Post of the State Patrol got word that windows in the Driver Examination Stations in Cuyahoga Falls, Barberton, and North Canton, were all shot out.  Meantime, a State Trooper who was leaving the Canton Post to investigate the Cuyahoga Falls shooting, noticed that the windsheld and grill of his cruiser had been shot at.

Nobody was injured in any of the incidents.
