Kyrie Irving got his wish.
The Cavaliers have traded the disgruntled point guard to the Celtics in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and center Ante Zizic, along with a first-round pick.
Irving asked to be traded to a team that he could be the center of attention and now will assume the role of Thomas. However, instead of trading Irving to a team the Cavs won't have to see, they sent him to their closest rival in the Eastern Conference.
