(Cleveland) - Several Cleveland Browns knelt during last night's National Anthem before the game with the New York Giants at FirstEnergy Stadium.
In what appeared to be an organized protest, Browns who could be seen kneeling were linebacker Jamie Collins, tight end Seth Devalve, safety Najee Murray, safety Jabril Peppers and running back Duke Johnson among others.
National Anthem protests have grown in prevalence over the past year in the NFL with players attempting to shed light on what they view as racial injustice in America. Browns Coach Hue Jackson says he respects and supports players rights for peaceful protest.
