CLEVELAND -- Home runs and Danny Salazar.
The combination helped the Cleveland Indians roll past the Minnesota Twins 8-1 at Target Field on Tuesday night winning their fifth-straight game.
Salazar was dominant over seven innings only allowing three hits and one run, while striking out 10. With the victory, Salazar improved to 5-5 on the season with an ERA of 3.92.
The Tribe offense was highlighted by the home run ball courtesy of Edwin Encarnacion, Carlos Santana, Jason Kipnis and Austin Jackson.
The Indians and Twins play the middle game of their three-game series on Wednesday night at Target Field. First pitch is set for 8:10 pm ET and can be heard on Newsradio WTAM 1100.
