(Cleveland) - A man wanted on a criminal warrant remains in stable condition after an early morning officer involved shooting on the east side.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliot says around 10am officers tried to serve McKale Hill a warrant for a November 2016 murder and several armed robberies.
Elliott says Hill then tried to run the officers down with his vehicle, causing shots to be fired. Hill is being treated for a gunshot wound to the head, and is in stable condition. He is expected to face additional charges.
None of the police officers were injured.
Investigators say Hill was wanted for the November 16th fatal shooting of 21 year old Dominic Rutherford, who was killed on Denison Avenue after arriving to conduct a drug deal.
