(Cleveland) – Cleveland Chain Reaction is announcing the 10 businesses that will receive their share of more than $1 million from investors.
Claudia Young is investing in two companies. Lina Wines LLC and Metro Croissants will both receive an investment and the two companies are currently seeking one Slavic Village location for shared production and retail space.
Justin Miller has selected Midwest Basics, a clothing manufacturer.
Fred Geis and Andrew Jackson are partnering to invest in Sides to Go BBQ. The fast casual BBQ operation will locate its food commissary in Slavic Village.Additionally, Mr. Geis has made multiple real estate investments in the Slavic Village neighborhood.
The Cleveland Foundation is providing investment to Holmes Mouth watering Applesauce and Baby Munch . These two companies will co-locate in Slavic Village, sharing a production facility.
In addition to these investments, each winning business will also receive a $5,000 grant to support their transition to new space in Slavic Village from the City of Cleveland’s Department of Economic Development.
