The 2017 Northeast Ohio Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia will be held on Sunday, August 27 at Edgewater Park Upper West Shelter in Cleveland. In addition to the walk n’ roll, event participants will enjoy refreshments, entertainment from the Olmsted Performing Arts dance team, a demonstration of a fully accessible vehicle from MC Mobility and American’s with Disabilities Act information from Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio Executive Vice-President Beth Glas.
Valuable and unique items from the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, the Cleveland Browns, the Lake Erie Monsters, Fount Leather Goods, Levin Furniture, Playhouse Square, Lush and Lovely Floristry, Maxi’s Restaurant Little Italy, Planet Fitness, Trader Joe’s and more will be auctioned off, and there will be a cash raffle. A $2,000 collectible autographed guitar signed by John Kay of Steppenwolf, Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits and members of Sly and the Family Stone will also be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
All are invited to enjoy the day, the beautiful scenery, the picnic and walking areas, and support Ataxia and your local friends battling Ataxia. Participation in the Walk n’ Roll is free, but donations are encouraged.
