Woman Killed When Airborne Deer Crashes Into Car

(Kinsman Twp. Ohio) - A woman was killed Thursday night by an airborne deer.  No, this deer hadn't learned how to fly, rather, it was thrown into the woman's car when it was hit by another car.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a car hit the deer Thursday night along State Route 7 in Trumbull County, sending the deer airborne.  A second car was hit by the deer, which went through that car's windshield.

Amy Stoneburner, 39, of Negley, Ohio, was a passenger in the car hit by the airborne deer.  She was dead at the scene.  The others in that car had only minor injuries.  The driver of the car that hit the deer, and three passengers, were not injured.
