Guilford Township, Medina County - One person was killed when a semi tractor-trailer and a motorcycle collided on I-76 Friday afternoon.
The Medina Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol says the semi was in the right lane and the motorcycle in the left lane on the interstate when the truck driver moved to the left.
When the motorcyclist tried to avoid the semi, he went off the road onto the berm, then overturned.
That's when the semi driver struck the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was identified as 29-year-old Andre C. Elliot of Niles, Ohio.
State troopers say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
The State Patrol is still investigating.
