Security Tight For U2 Concert At FirstEnergy Stadium

U2

(Cleveland) - Tens of thousands of fans of the band U2 started lining up outside FirstEnergy Stadium Friday morning for Saturday night's stop of U2's Joshua Tree Tour.  Fans of U2 are being warned that security at FirstEnergy Stadium will be very strict, and fans need extra time to pass through security.

Parking lots around the stadium open Saturday at noon.  Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. Saturday.  Large bags such as backpacks, oversize tote bags, and large purses will not be allowed.  Also not allowed in the stadium are balloons, Frisbees, ice chests, umbrellas, and firearms.  The prohibited items list is the same one used for Browns games.  Purses or totes must be small and clear.

Security procedures will be very similar to those used for Browns games.

Here's important information regarding tickets:

Each person issued a FirstEnergy Stadium wristband must return to the CREE Gate between 2pm and 4pm to begin lining up for entry in order of your wristband number. All ticket holders must be together in line before 4pm or the entire group will lose their place in line.
