Ohio Government Websites Hacked By Pro-ISIS Group

(CLEVELAND) - Multiple Ohio government websites were hacked, Sunday morning, with pro-ISIS messages.

Even though, by 1 p.m., all of the affected sites had been taken offline, each sites' homepage had been replaced by a black background accompanied Islamic music.

The banner atop each homepage read "Hacked By Team System DZ", a group described as "anti-Isreali Arab teenagers."

Beneath that, the sites reportedly said -qoute- "You will be held accountable Trump, you and all your people for every drop of blood flowing in Muslim countries." ....as well as....."I love Islamic State."

A link to the groups Facebook page also appeared.

In a statement from the governor's office, a spokesperson said "As soon as we were notified of the situation we immediately began to correct it and will continue to monitor until fully resolved."

WKYC reports the following state sites were affected:

-Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections

-Casino Control

-Ohio First Lady

-Office of Workforce Transformation

-Office of Health Transformation

-Inspector General

-Ohio governor

-Medicaid 

In response to the site hacks, Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel took to Facebook posting "...Wake up freedom-loving Americans. Radical Islam infiltrating the heartland."

According to VICE magazine, Team System DZ has hacked numerous websites including the University of New Brunswick's student union site and a Canadian food truck's sandwich site. 

The UK's Daily Mail reports the group also hacked an English rugby team's site.
