(Exeter, PA) -- A valedictorian whose speech was deemed too critical by his Pennsylvania school can thank Jimmy Kimmel for being allowed to finish it. Wyoming Area High School administrators shut off Peter Butera's mic on graduation day after it openly criticized them and the student government. Butera accused the administration of stifling student growth and said student government was not taken seriously. The 18-year-old garnered the support of his fellow students who gave him a standing ovation at the end of it. Butera gave the rest of his address last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel praised Butera's speech and encouraged him to "keep being a pain in the ass" in college too. Butera is headed to Villanova University in the fall.
