CLEVELAND, OH - The new Edgewater Beach house opens to the public on Friday, but a media preview was held Tuesday afternoon.
The beach house is a 2 story, 12,000 square foot structure with a clear view of the lake, and Cleveland's skyline. Metropark's CEO Brian Zimmerman says the $3.2 million facility serves as an observation deck with spectacular views of the lakeshore, downtown, and Cleveland's gold coast. The beach house has its own bar and food service, plus an underpass to West 73 Street.
Construction began last year and work is now complete for summer activities, including a big fireworks show.
