(Cuyahoga County) - Cleveland businessman Tony Madalone has opened a campaign office in Slavic Village kicking off his run for mayor.
The 32 year old Madalone owns Fresh Brewed Tees, a t-shirt manufacturing operation downtown that has partnered with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Madalone grew up in Lorain, raised by his single mother and his grandparents. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Finance from Ashland University.
Madalone tells Newsradio WTAM 1100, he's invested his time and resources in Cleveland and has a clear vision for the city's future.
Madalone promises that his focus will be on improving education and neighborhood safety, while investing in people.
He joins 21 other candidates for mayor of Cleveland, including current mayor Frank Jackson, councilmen Jeff Johnson and Zack Reed, state representative Bill Patmon, and former East Cleveland mayor Eric Brewer.
