With the injury to cornerback Howard Wilson, the door was potentially opened to two rookie free agent defensive backs.
Wilson, a fourth-round pick from Houston, fractured his knee cap on Friday and is out indefinitely. To take Wilson's place, the Browns have signed defensive backs Donte Carey and Najee Murray. Both players participated in this weekend’s rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. In addition, the club waived offensive lineman Josh Boutte.
