Traffic Stop Nets 71lbs of Pot

Boston Township, OH - A simple traffic stop brought more than $1 million in drugs off the streets. 

Pierce J. Roberts, 30, faces up to 48 years in prison. It all stems from a traffic stop on May 8 in Boston Township in Summit County. 

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says they found 71 pounds of marijuana, 26 pounds of solid hash and eight pounds of liquid hash oil in Roberts' car. The street value of the drugs is  $1.06 million.

Possession of the drugs are all second-degree felonies. If convicted, Roberts could face up to 48 years in prison and up to a $90,000 fine.
