(Franklin Township, OH) -- There's no word yet of any arrests in a deadly double shooting in Portage County.
Sheriff's deputies say 18-year-old Jayquan Tillman of Cleveland was gunned down Friday night during a party on State Route 43 in Franklin Township. A woman attending the party was injured.
Tillman had just finished his sophomore year at Eastern Michigan University.
“It is with the deepest of sympathy that we mourn the death of Jayquon Tillman,” said Eastern Michigan University President James Smith. “Our heartfelt thoughts go out to his family and friends at this time of grief and sorrow. We stand by to offer whatever support the University can provide to all of those who cared for him and loved him.”
